Your Spa Experience 

Spa Policies & Guidelines

To be compliant with NYS guidelines the Spa at Woodcliff has made a series of changes. We kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with our updated policies below prior to your upcoming spa visit. Please click link for more information. 

  • Effective June 2020 The Spa at Woodcliff will only be permitting guests with a scheduled appointment past the check-in point no additional visitors will be allowed. 
  • Due to limited capacity, we ask that you arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
  • Our Spa team will be in required protective equipment while performing services.
  • All spa guests will be required to arrive in a mask as well as wear throughout their treatment as an enhanced safety measure. 
  • In lieu of communal snacks and beverage consumption being temporarily unavailable in the spa and salon public areas arrangements for to-go to enjoy your favorite beverage have been made. We also will not being permitting outside food and beverage at this time.
  • Temporarily spa guests will only be able to access limited facilities and will be unable to utilize the pool, gym or sauna. 
  • While our spa has always be diligent with sanitation requirements, to abide by new regulations we will be more visibly displaying those efforts by sanitizing prior to, throughout and after your treatment. 
  • For the convenience of our guests, we have established a payment form which you can use to authorize your credit card payment and gratuity in advance. If you wish to utilize please e-mail us at Spaelan@woodcliffhotelspa.com. 
  • The Spa at Woodcliff has made special accommodations to continue providing you with a gratifying spa experience while enforcing social distancing requirements among guests. 
  •  Upon entering the spa and beginning your treatment both you and your provider will begin by washing your hands. 
  • As always our spa front desk team will be present upon arrival to check you in and assist you with navigating through our modified spa arrangements. 
  • We are currently waiving all cancellation fees due to illness. We kindly ask any guest who is not feeling well to refrain from coming to the spa and call to reschedule their treatment for a later date. 

Spa Elan is a mature environment of harmony and relaxation. We respect the right of our guests to privacy and quiet. Please follow these guidelines of spa etiquette:

  • Cellular phones and pagers are prohibited

  • Children 16 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Avoid eating or drinking alcohol at least one hour before a treatment.

CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so as soon as possible so that we may release your obligation and allow another guest to enjoy Spa services. You will be charged 50% of your service cost for services that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are discretionary and are not included in any of our services. Our spa staff will be pleased to assist you in providing gratuity guidelines if desired.

GIFT CARDS

Can you think of a nicer gift? Provide that friend, family member or special someone on your list with a gift card from Spa Elan. Consider the Couples Massage, the Signature Facial, or allow the recipient to choose from the many available luxurious treatments. Gift cards may also used anywhere throughout Woodcliff Hotel & Spa.

APPOINTMENTS

We recommend scheduling your spa or salon appointments two weeks in advance. Services are guaranteed with a credit card. Please call 585.248.4870 and a staff member will be happy to schedule an appointment for you. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are subject to availability. We invite you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your first appointment to utilize the facilities, shower and prepare for your treatment. Locker, robe, and sandals will be provided for you upon check-in for your spa treatment. During treatments, your body is fully draped, except for the area being treated. Please communicate comfort requests such as room temperature, pressure of touch, or music volume to our staff during your service.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

We recommend you call and reserve your Spa Elan appointment at least two weeks in advance at 585-248-4870 or make an appointment here.  Please note this request is not a guaranteed reservation. A spa representative will review your request and contact you in 24-hours regarding our compatible availability.

Spa and Salon services are guaranteed with a credit card. Should you wish to cancel an appointment please contact us 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Any cancellations with less than the required notice will result in full charges of the scheduled services. Late arrivals will receive the best treatment possible within the remaining appointment time; full treatment costs apply.

*Guests under the age of 18 scheduled to receive massage therapy or spa services must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
